I particularly enjoy stitching by hand, as well as making felt using a mixture of traditional hand-felting techniques and needle-felting.

I also like to experiment by incorporating unusual materials and by creating 3-dimensional forms.

Many sources of inspiration come from the landscape and its patterns and textures, often based on my own photographs.

I joined the Textile Studio in 1999 after completing a City and Guilds Diploma (Part 1) in Creative Embroidery. I am also a member of the International Feltmakers' Association.
