My interest in textiles began at a young age, inspired by women around me. I enjoyed being a maker and continue to do so and from this a passion developed. Exploring the properties of textiles and other media and the way they and techniques can be manipulated is an exciting part of the exploration.

 

I use sketchbooks to gather ideas together with drawings, collage, sampling, notes, etc. to give shape to the concept I am focusing on.

 

At its core my practice reflects on what it means to be human in the world we live in today, physically, spiritually and mentally.
